The Crisfield Artificial Reef can be found near Crisfield, MD. It was constructed by Maryland's Department of Natural Resources during 1988. The reef is composed of 3000 tons of granite rock and houses croaker, flounder, tautog, trout, rockfish, sea bass and porgy. One can also see skates and oyster toads. The reef can be found northwards of buoy R6 (known locally as Fox Island Buoy).
