Founded in 2013, Blue Octopus Scuba is a set of fresh ideas in a familiar location. Blue Octopus Scuba owner, Tim Cavanaugh, sought to make large-scale changes to the product and services offerings in the dive industry in Northern Virginia. Tim has since moved downstairs to run Blue Octopus Scuba Service Department so he can spend more time diving when Mike Wright and Scott Rose purchased Blue Octopus Scuba in 2016.Blue Octopus Scuba provides quality dive education offering anyone the opportunity to explore and appreciate the underwater world. We present a culture of eco-conservation and respect for all sea life. We travel the world seeking underwater experiences with our community of diving friends, and we offer the educational opportunities to enhance everyone's knowledge and skill.
