About Sea Colony Aqua Sports

in business for 34 years, Sea Colony is the largest and oldest PADI 5 Star IDC Training Facility in Maryland. We are the home of Lin and John Kiser, who has certified more safe divers in the world than any other PADI Instructor!Lin and John do not believe in one day or extremely accelerated courses. It takes time to build the confidence needed to produce a skilled and confident diver, no matter what level of training. The quality of our divers can attest to that at all age levels, from 10 years and up. Sea Colony proudly boasts Professional Master Instructors and IDC staff Instructors that John has personally trained and hand picked. Our Dive Masters exceed all the PADI standards and have undergone long internships to be chosen for Sea Colony’s staff. Our courses are taught at the United States Naval Academy, Salisbury University, Washington College, St. Mary’s College, Towson University, McDaniel College, Anne Arundel Community College and at Local Severna Park pools.We have a large in house repair facility with full time repair technician with over 30 years experience. We are the exclusive area distributor for the Henderson AquaLoc Wetsuits and accessories. We have also received the 2010 and 2011 National Outstanding Dealer of the Year Award for Henderson Dive Wear.Sea Colony also offers training dives that are scheduled on weekends at Lake Phoenix in Virginia 2 to 4 times a month.
