About HMCS Columbia

The former HMCS Columbia, a 2,900 ton, 366 foot Destroyer was sunk on the 22nd of June 1996 off the cost of the Maud Island, between Vancouver Island and British Columbia. This wreck has become somewhat of a non-natural reef for sport divers visiting the Campbell River. This massive warship now lies in 90 to 110 feet of water, as well as listing roughly 40 degrees to portside, allowing for a remarkable wreck diving prospect.
