Greg Baldock and Roger McDonell have joined forces to share their combined decades of diving background and passions for the ocean experience. For Greg its a long time goal to return to Vancouver Island where he lived during his childhood. Moving to Campbell River from Montreal where he earned his Professional Association of Diving Instructors certification, Greg has been managing and instructing divers at Beaver Aquatics for the past three years. For Roger its returning to what first brought him to Vancouver Island and Campbell River forty years ago. "As a new diver, I found myself in Campbell River working as a radio reporter and joined up with the local Tide Rippers Dive Club," explains McDonell. "I was fortunate to develop an interest in underwater photography and able to share the incredible marine life with other divers and non-divers alike." The two business partners are also active scuba diving buddies and are regularly heading out to dive sites in the local waters with new and experienced divers. Baldock's role as an instructor has him in the pool and ocean weekly teaching new divers and promoting safety skills through advanced diver training. "Our goal is to get divers out diving and doing it safely," states Greg. "By offering advanced courses like Rescue Diver and Drysuit Diver, along with regular charters to local dive sites, we expect there will will be increased opportunity for divers to get their ocean fix."
