About Nudibranch Gardens

Nudibranch Gardens, (local name Bang Tang), is so called for the abundance of Nudibranches here. In particular, Pteraeolidia Ianthina and Jorunna Funebris. This is a huge site stretching over 1KM in distance; you'll never see the whole site. Large rock formations in the deeper parts provide the best diving here. Lots of small caves and over hangs provide shelter for most of the marine life. In the sand expect to see many scorpion fish, and the occasional devil scorpion fish. Look in-between rocks and crevices for Bamboo sharks that frequent the area. Best chance to see Bamboo Sharks here is at night. There are two main areas from which boats can anchor. Front of the site provides access to the better areas of the site Rainbow Divers recommendation or in bad conditions there is a breaking reef that provides shelter.
