About Nail Cape

Nail Cape, or Mong Tai in Vietnamese, is named after the shape of the island resembling a ladies finger nail. Diving is available inside the bay or outside. Currents on the west side are more common than not. Underwater you will be treated to some very strange looking rock formations. In the past it has lead some people to believe that an ancient civilisation was once located here. Lots of Whip, Harp and Tree coral litter the site. Rocky overhangs provide shelter for most of the marine life here. On the East side, large boulders form the main part of your dive. This side is a good option in heavy swells. Rainbow Divers recommends the outside (West side) of Nail Cape. The rock formations alone make it worthwhile.
