About Tui Tawate

The Tui Tawate was a well known New Zealand Steel Hulled Tug. This tug served in rescue operations for many years as well as being an oil vessel for President Coolidge. She sank many years ago and now sits upright and fairly intact in waters of 45 meters deep. Due to this, this dive is recommended for advanced level divers only. Great coral growth and abundant marine life to be seen.
