About USS S 5 Wreck

The USS S Five as many people know it, sank due to a Pilot Error when a induction valve was left open by mistake. This caused her Torpedo room to flood, dragging her nose down. Luckily the sumarines lenght was greater then the water depth and the crew started making a hole in her back side with a drill and saw. 40 hours later the crew members escaped from this hole. Its a beautiful wreck dive. Due to depht, this wreck dive is recommended for advanced divers only. Exellent bottom topography.
