About Tarpon Wreck

Also known as Naugatuck, The SS Tarpon served as a steam Passanger Freighter in 1887. In 1902 she was sold to Pensacola we she served transporting cargo. She sank in 1937 when she capsized due to a overload in cargo. Today she has healthy coral growth and home to a wide variety of marine life.
