About South County Reef

This artificial reef was constructed in 2001 and home to an old Tugboat, called 'The Orange tug' More then 700 tons of concrete culverts, junction boxes, concrete slabs and poles line this area. It has taken some beautiful coral growth since then and a large variety of marine fish inhabits this reef.
