About Pyramids

Pyramids is named after the huge amount of pyramid butterfly fish that live around the top of the spires. This dive site is one of the best in Lanai and one can see everything from pinnacles, finger coral, lava arches and even huge amounts of reef fish. As one enters the site you will find a rather large, yet hollow pinnacle with tons of nooks and crannies to discover, however a dive light will be needed. To the west of the pinnacle one can find several lava arches that are coated with snowflake coral and where lobsters and crabs live. Marine life that can be found here include blue-stripe snapper, barracuda, viper moray eels and sometimes white tip reef sharks.
