About Nags Head

Nags Head is a dive that should be attempted only under the guidance or at the very least council from the local population. The site features three separate wrecks. The wrecks are roughly 100 yards offshore and are that of trawlers sunk in roughly 45 feet of water. The wrecks came about when two trawlers crashed and in the following years another trawler hit the wreckage. One can find many types of fish and even sharks at this dive site. There are dive shops present that will sell one a map and air supplies to help with the relatively rough surface conditions. As such only experienced divers should attempt it. It is advised to swim or 'duck' under the chopping waves on the surface.
