About Monterey Breakwater

This is one of the most heavily dove sites in Northern California. This site gets over-crowded on weekend and seems to be the ultimate diving location. It has a small sandy beach with the bottom consisting of sand and rock formations. The breakwater wall, along with the rock formations are covered in beautiful corals. Abundant marine life covers this area. Here you can also dive along the wall and salvage some interesting artifacts that were left behind by divers or that has dropped into the water from the breakwater wall.
