For many years this wreck has been unidentified. Only recently the AUE has identified this wreck to be the Millie R. Bohannon, also known as the 28 Fathom. This schooner was built in 1891 in Delaware. In 1919 she was found abandoned and unmanned several miles away from Egmont Key. No one is sure what exactly happened. Today there is not much of her remaining, but whats left of her, houses beautiful corals and a large variety of marine life.
