About Middle Ground

This site contains two very popular reefs in Jacksonville. The first reef would be that of a old steel hulled barge that was sunk here to foster a artificial reef. The second one is also known as the 'Japanese Reef' as it was funded by the japanese Government. The second reef consists of a fibre glass pyramid structure with loops. This structure has drawn large amounts of fish to the area.
