This dive spot is excellent for night diving. Manta rays are common here but if one misses them there is still a great array of marine life on offer, such as squirrel fish, goat fish, butterfly fish, garden and moray eels, and various invertebrates. The lights from the Sheraton Hotel attract shoals of plankton which, in turn, attract manta rays in search of a meal. The best way to view this phenomenon is to start your dive at sundown, get to the bottom, and wait for the manta rays to soar in. One problem with the site is the swell and it can be very difficult to find a spot where one won't get thrown into the rocks.
