About Manana "Rabbit" Island

Manana Island can be found just off Makapu'u Beach Park on the south west point of Oahu. The best diving is down from a boat; one can see coral formations and shelling in water only 20 feet deep. The islands are near enough to be down with one tank in depths ranging up to 70 feet. One can view great coral formations and see lots of lobster. The current, Moloka'i Express brings in clean waters but also takes unfamiliar divers with it. There are tons of White Tip Reef Sharks, Tiger Sharks and Gray Sharks and as such divers should be careful not to be attacked.
