About Langley Tire Reef

This is quite a dive site. There is a huge tire reef here at the base of the piling breakwater for the Langley Marina. It's not very deep...40-50 feet...and it is covered in life. There are lots of anemones, perch, rockfish, sea stars and some red octopus. In general, the dive profile is to surface swim out to the breakwater and drop down onto the bottom of the pilings that make the breakwater. Then drop down a bit, going through the rocks, and end up looking around the tires. There are lots of crevices where life likes to hide. *Description taken from http://huskychemist.org/scuba/DiveSites/LangleyTireReef.htm
