About Lake Billy Chinook

This Lake was named after a well known Wasco Indian that travelled here with a explorer in 1843. The maximum depth here is 120 meters, but diving is only allowed only up to 18 meters. This lake is surrounded by beautiful cliffs, creating a majestic setting and backdrop. Abundant marine life covers the sand and rock bottom.
