About Kahuku Ledge

The site found at the northernmost peak of Oahu is fairly inaccessible. The site can only be dived when the conditions are perfect, a rare occasion. From Haleiwa Harbour, it can take up to two hours to reach the site, which is three quarters of a mile offshore. As the site is hard to reach it is well-preserved. Kahuka Ledge extends parallel to the shore for 70 feet and then plunges to a depth of over 160 feet. One can find yellowfin tuna, open water jacks and other local fish at this site.
