About Hurricane Bay

This is a excellent site for night or deep diving. All levels are welcome. Upon entry you will already see the drop, so there won't be long surface swimming. The bottom consists of small rocks and sand. Entry and exit are safer from the beach as you may have a lot of boat traffic in this area. There is a deep shelf around 150 ft. Due East of the green pipe culvert across from Mankato St. is a sailboat resting in 60 ft of water. Lots of big crawdads here and schools of minnows.
