About Halibut Point

Halibut Cove is a relatively simple dive if the conditions are pleasant enough. The entry however can be physically demanding. One will have to hike for roughly a mile and use of a cart is almost necessary. Only attempt this dive if in great shape and take care to remember that the effects of nitrogen are increased by physical effort. Directions are as follows: Once at the intersection of SR 127 and SR127A in Rockport (NE Cape Ann), carry on North for 1.8 miles; turn right onto Gott Ave. Parking will be on your right roughly 200 yards ahead.
