About George R Skolfield Wreck

This is the wreck of a Three Masted Schooner. He was built in 1885 and reconverted into a Schooner Barge in 1920. She broke free from her tow and drifted until she eventually stranded on Ludlum Beach. Due to her shallow depth, most of her remains are covered in sand. Its a easy shore dive suitable for all level divers and snorkellers. Excellent bottom topography. Abundant marine life and corals.
