About France Park

France Park (or Franz Park) boasts fresh water jellyfish and paddlefish. The maximum depth is around 35 feet and visibility can be up to 25 feet. France Park used to be a rock quarry and as such has stonewalls, a rocky and also sandy bottom and warm water (70 degrees Fahrenheit.) Amenities include a waterslide, snack shop and a meeting area. Diving is allowed from 9am to 11pm. Night diving can only be down on Sundays through to Thursdays and requires a 24-hour advance notice. Entering the park costs $2 and there are hotels and a camping area available. Be sure to bring your certification card for diving.
