About Forty Fathom Grotto

Directions : Travel north from Ocala on I-75 to exit 71. Go weston S-326 for 7 miles to NW 115th street (a dirt road) and turn right. This road is just past the Cut Above horse ranch. Follow the dirt road for a quarter mile. The grotto is just off to the right. Wooden steps lead down a 70 foot slope to water level. A large floating dock makes water entries a snap. The oblong pool is 150 feet by 400 feet. There are two small caves at 50 feet and an extremely dagerous opening at 100 feet. Absolutely no diving is allowed here.
