About Eureka

Eureka is an enthralling wreck. It features the wreck of a 531-ton, steam schooner with four masts that sunk in about 115 feet of water after hitting the British Benison, a steamer on the 6th of May 1888. The ship was on its way to New Orleans from New York with an assortment of cargo including sets of china, bottles, deadeyes, gauges, porcelain dolls and jars, gold pocket watches all of which one can find if lucky enough.
