About City of Athens

The City of Athens can be found in 110 feet of water sitting on a sandy bottom. The wreck is one large piece, although it is broken up. Distinctive attractions are the large boilers close to her midsections. Hull and decking plates have fallen in on the ship. The bridge is believed to be a small area off the wrecks portside roughly 30 yards away. Inside this wreck one can find many types of fish and also lobsters. Artifacts to be found include bottles, china, ammo and brass. Visibility is rather good and about 40-60 feet.
