About Charles S Haight Wreck

This was a Steel Hulled Liberty Ship. He sank on April 2, 1946 after steering into a severe storm. This storm send her aground. A couple of days after she ended up on the rocks, her hull split and she sank. Today she is broken up and her coral encrusted remains are scattered in this area. excellent display of marine life and bottom topography.
