Brettun’s Pond

Brettun's Pond can be found in Livermore, Maine. The pond is generally shallow at every access point and incredibly warm. (60 70 degrees Fahrenheit.) One can see perch and bass as well as many other small fish. There is no flora below 12 feet but one can see the occasional 55-gallon drum or engine block. The cove itself is about 25 feet from the shore. Directions are as follows: The pond can be found on route 4 in Livermore, Maine. Parking is at the site visible from route 4 just before the beach. There is also a primitive toilet available.
