About Amazone Wreck

This steel hulled Dutch Freighter was built in Holland, 1922 and owned by The Pioneer Steamship Co. Delaware. In 1942 she was enroute from Curacao with coffe and oil burners when she got torpedoed by a U 333 German Submarine. She took 14 of her crew members to their graves. She makes a beautiful reef with abundant marine life and lots to see. Here you will find many other artifacts scattered around the wreck.
