The Playground Dive Shop was established in 2012 with the aim of providing high quality service to the scuba diving community within the Kansas City Metro. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Center, The Playground Dive Shop has gained not only the respect from the industry locally, but now has a grown into a worldwide leader of Dive Travel, Diver Education and Dive Equipment. As one of KC's premier scuba diving facilities, we offer quality service for the recreational community. With over 50 years of combined experience, we guarantee the highest standards of quality in terms of teachine, safety and services. Many of our staff have background in Public Safety Diving as well as over 15+ years of teaching & military diving.We are Kansas City's only Authorized Scubapro Platinum Dealer. Scubapro first appeared in the scuba diving world in the early 1960's. They brought to the market many innovations for diving that are still being used and copied today. As innovators and pioneers in the scuba industry - what better fit for the Playground Dive Shop!The Playground Dive Shop is also leading the way in women diving. Our shop carries in stock plenty of female oriented gear. We are a strong supporter of women diving and have a great network of women divers.
