Round Island Divers is the only PADI 5 Star Dive Center in the States of Mississippi and Alabama that is a Platinum Scubapro Dealer. It was established in 2007, by John J. Gaffney, who is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. John has been teaching scuba diving courses since 1981. Our staff has over 30 years of experience training divers along the Gulf Coast.Round Island Divers was named for a small barrier island just off the coast of Pascagoula, Mississippi. Round Island had a lighthouse which for decades lighted the way to safe harbor for sailors. Just like this lighthouse, Round Island Divers is lighting the way to safe scuba diving.The shop’s mission is to provide safe, professional training, service, equipment sales and dive travel.
