About Atlantic Edge Scuba

Atlantic Edge Scuba is the DC metropolitan area’s premiere scuba diving and snorkeling facility. It was established in 1993, by current owners John and Abbe Harman. With over 24 years’ of experience in the area, we have certified thousands of divers and outfitted hundreds of thousands of snorkelers with premium watersports gear.We are proud to be the exclusive scuba diving outfitter for the National Aquarium in Baltimore, and we are the only dive shop in the country able to offer certified divers the opportunity to dive in the Coral Reef Exhibit at the National Aquarium in Baltimore.We have a 3,000 square foot retail dive store in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Stocking the most extensive line of scuba and snorkeling equipment in Maryland, Baltimore, and the DC metro area. We stock all the gear our customers need for the next underwater adventure including masks, fins, snorkels, wetsuits, scuba gear, and travel accessories. We are the largest dive training facility in Maryland, offering training courses all across the DC metro area. Including Montgomery County, Maryland, Baltimore, DC, and Northern VA. We offer training, starting at entry level and going up through the professional levels of Divemaster and Instructor.We have a full service department to service most brands of scuba gear and can also outfit the diver with a complete scuba kit with rental gear.
