About UB 116

The UB 116 was a German U Type Submarine. On October 28 , 1918, this submarine tried to sneak his way into Scapa, via the Hoxa Sound and past the defence, when she was detected and remote underwater mines were set off. These mines sent her to her final resting place, taking all her crew with her. A very interesting and scenic dive.
