About The Wanya

The Wanja was a Norwegian Steamship. She is part of the many wrecks that can be accessed easily from shore on Start Point, Sanday. The Wanja was Captured and beached during WW11. Resting in shallow waters, she is mostly broken up and her remains scattered on the sea bed, providing home to a large variety of marine life. Very interesting dive !
