About The Hispania Wreck

The Hispania was a Small Swedish Merchant Vessel that was used to carry various bulk, such as rubber, steel and bales. She was enroute to Liverpool, steering into heavy weather conditions when the Captain decided to take the Passage way through the Sounds of Mull. Minutes later she steered onto the forgiving rocks which resulted in her sinking. Today The Hispania is known to be The Jewel of Oban Diving. Its a beautiful wreck dive, with a excellent display of marine life and beautiful coral formations.
