About The Betsy Anna Wreck

Also known as The Ashington. The Betsy Anna was a Steel Steamer built in 1892. After tearing her plates in Devon, she was towed to Cowes for repairs. She foundered and sank in Poole Bay before reaching her destination. Today she is broken up and her remains scattered on a sandy bottom. Lots of marine fish ibhabits her along with a excellent display of marine life. Very interesting dive.
