About Stoney Cove

One of the most popular inland sites is Stoney Cove, which is an inland quarry in Stoney Stanton near Leicester. The temperature here is always cold (up to 63 F in summer), and some of its many attractions are the fish that can be seen here, including pike, roach, and crayfish. The deepest part is 120 feet, and there is a novice area of 22 feet. The center has many attractions, including two hydroboxes and many wrecks. Facilities include a shop, toilets, and a pub. This easy access scuba dive consists of a fresh water quarry where there are a number of foreign objects sunk,including helicopters,cars,planes and more.There are some lobsters which take refuge here as well as some fish.
