About HMS Hampshire

The Hms Hampshire was a beautiful British Battle Cruiser. Today known as a War Graveyard. This vessel was out to open sea in high seas and strong winds when a Water mine from a German Submarine ripped through her hull. It was said that the Germans would never dare operate this close to the Scapa Navy Base, but the Germans suprised them once again. This wreck has been off limits to divers for several years. Its a beautiful wreck, resting in deep water and home to a wide variety of marine life.
