About MV Dara

This scuba dive consists of the wreckage of a passenger liner.This vessel was struck by a bomb on the 8th April 1961 and the result of the bomb was a large fire onboard the vessel,in this incident 238 people lost their lives making it one of the highest maritime death tolls. She now lies in three pieces and broken up.There can be some interesting marine growth here in June and July.There are a few batfish, snapper and turtles around but the marine life isn't the best.
