About Mtangani Hammerhead Dive

This interesting scuba dive consists of a large reef which is accompanied by some strong currents.This area is well known to divers who dive with the diving clubs here as a place where it is possible to spot some hammerhead sharks during the right conditions.The dive clubs usually head out early in the morning if one wants to try find hammerheads,and while the pursuit is often in vain there is still a good dive here,regardless. Apart from the occasionally seen hammerhead sharks,there are various other fish here including wrasse, tuna, turtles and many other large reef fish.The reef slopes down to some deep depths in excess of 50 meters in places.Visibility can vary and it's often below average,but that doesn't really take away from what this site has to offer
