About Makarere Reef

This dive site consists of a fascinating reef which ascends up from a sandy sloping sea floor. The reef can be reached by swimming only 10 meters deep, but descends down to a depth of 30 meters. You will find numerous fish around the reef including surgeonfish, unicorn fish, rays, eels, wrasse and more.
