About De Avondster Wreck

Also formerly known as 'The Blessing' This wreck was of English origin but served as a Dutch East India (VOC) vessel. She was only discovered recently and started becoming part of the Indian Maritime Archeology program. She sank more than 100 years ago after slipping her anchor and crashing into shore. Several items including a skull was removed from her remains recently. This is a beautiful historic dive and also a easy wreck training dive. Shallow clear waters and abundant marine life to be seen. Great for wrecksploration.
