About The MV Daeyeng Family Wreck

The Daeyeng Family was a Korean Ore Tanker that was enroute from Brazil to Korea when she struck Whale Rock and sank shortly after. The Daeueng is considered to be one of the best wreck dives in Cape Town due to it's location as well as it's size. The wreck is broken in two and has large amounts of coral growth. Here you will aslo see a great display of marine life. While you in the area, take some time to explore the infamous whale rock. Incredible dive!
