About The Briseis

This dive site consists of an ancient wreck which sank here in the middle of the 19th century (1859) while returning from India. Due to the age of the wreck she is obviously subject to wear and tear and now lies scattered over a distance of about 150 meters. It has been said that there was gold and silver on board but there have apparently been no findings of such. She lies at a shallow 12 meters.
