About Miller's Point

Miller's Point is located in front of the Cape Boat and Ski Club clubhouse on the road from Simon's Town to Cape Point. Due to the protected location of the site, the water is usually clear and calm. There are several easy entry and exit points in the sheltered waters of the tidal pool and launch site. The reefs consist of low walls and gullies covered in marine growth and kelp. The marine life is at it's most colourfull on the blinder, further out to the east, approximately 200m from shore. There is a large amount of boat traffic in the area and it is essential to dive with a marker buoy and Alpha flag.
