About Deep Sponge

This section of reef is situated just off the 2 mile reef system. A gentle sloping reef that reaches a maximum depth of 30 meters. Named after the large populations of scattered red, purple and orange sponges covering the sandy seabed. This site is also home to several Eagle Rays as well as White and Black Tip Reef Sharks. Excellent underwater topography.
