About Bell Bouy

With red-baited carpeted pinnacles rising to just 5m this is a handy site within 'the Bay' and sits beneath a 'Bell Bouy' marker often the playground of seals. The max depth is 17m and an all round good, comfortable dive even for novices. Visibility is often an issue as with many other sites in Algoa Bay but still its outcrops offer shelter and home interesting species as well as the occasional visitor (small raggies or shy sharks) - Seals and dolphins offer sideline entertainment.
