About Balcony

This site is located on the southern side of Rooiels, and suitable for all levels of divers and snorkellers. Follow the road from Rooiels Cafe to the parking lot opposite a double story house. Walk over a pebble beach to reach the entry point followed by an easy 50m swim through the kelp. The site is located directly opposite the white-tipped pinnacle rock on the shore. Conditions are usually good as the site is sheltered from the south-easterly winds. There are various pinnacle rocks that are covered in feather stars, sponges, anemones and colourful invertebrates.
